Green Fields

Katrin Mason-Brown: "The Wusterhausen Way Museum has interesting historical wallpapers and wall paintings that were uncovered during a renovation in 2011. The flower, which grows up between water lilies, comes from the baroque-looking wallpaper patterns. Highly abstract in color and form, the flower connects old and new times. A putto floats above it, which has been guarding the Herbst House for several centuries and now also the town's train station. A nod for guests and residents to the rich history of the place, which can be explored not only during the summer holidays."
