GDR new building - after demolition of the old houses opposite the church

Some of the typical half-timbered houses on Domstrasse are listed buildings. The oldest houses on the street, some of which still have gables, unfortunately fell victim to the construction of the new GDR block next to the church in 1983/84. The new block on Alte Poststraße was built in 1963.
