Enforcement Procedures
If you do not receive a satisfactory answer from the above-mentioned contact option or no answer within a period of three weeks, you can apply to the enforcement agency of the state of Brandenburg, set up by the Ministry for Social Affairs, Health, Integration and Consumer Protection of the state of Brandenburg - State Disability Officer to check the regulations and measures mentioned in the declaration on accessibility. The enforcement body examines the legal force of the application from a substantive point of view. In individual cases, it orders a technical review of the website from the monitoring body for accessibility of web and application technologies in the state of Brandenburg.
The enforcement body according to § 4 Para. 3 BbgBITV has the task of settling disputes on the subject of accessibility in IT between people with disabilities and public authorities in the state of Brandenburg. The enforcement process is free. There is no need for legal counsel to be involved.
